Feminine and Masculine energy at work
Regardless of our gender, we are all composed of both masculine and feminine energies. These dual energies, seen throughout nature, exist in harmony and nourish one another. Together, they form the balance that underpins the duality of our world.
Over time, feminine energy has been undervalued, disrespected, and suppressed by the dominance of masculine energy and patriarchal systems, disrupting this natural equilibrium. The result is a world that is out of balance.
Reintegrating and embodying more feminine energy within ourselves is essential for fostering healthier relationships and creating a more balanced, harmonious world. When we examine the lens of gender, it becomes clear how much attention and reward masculine energy often receives over the feminine.
It’s also important to recognize that these constructs are culturally shaped rather than inherently tied to our biological sex. While women are often encouraged to embrace feminine traits, the challenge arises when masculine traits are favored in spaces like schools and workplaces, creating a bind between societal expectations and personal success. By consciously nurturing both energies, we can restore our Creative wellbeing as well as those around us.
Coaching questions:
Which energy level do you bring more often in the workplace?
What would you like to explore bringing more of/ or less of?
How has your lived experience of gender shaped your leadership?
