10 Ways To Stop A Diversity Conversation

There are many ways we can discourage or even stop a discussion about diversity without intention. Here are 10 of the most common ways we hear this in our work at Tosha:

  1. Some of my best friends are gay/ black

  2. All Lives Matter

  3. I don’t see color

  4. But where do we draw the line?

  5. I think identifying into groups only further divides us

  6. Things are a lot better than they used to be. Don’t you agree?

  7. We have more similarities than differences

  8. This is what humans do

  9. I disagree or I don’t think its offense, its just a joke

  10. We don’t want to lower the bar
