Janet Nami McIntyre

Janet McIntyre is passionate about coaching as a pathway for personal transformation. As a coach, she is a trusted advisor, sounding board, accountability partner, and a champion for her clients. She is a certified coach from the Co-Active Training Institute and earned an Executive Master of Leadership from the University of Southern California. She has coached executives, managers and emerging leaders from a range of organizations and fields from non-profits to creative agencies.

Janet has coached professionals in a variety of different areas including stepping into new leadership roles, navigating change, experiencing personal/professional transitions, wanting to develop a more intuitive approach to decision-making, and increasing emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self- management, social awareness, and relationship management).

Prior to working in leadership development, she had a career in non-profit arts management. She was the Executive Director of the Hollywood Arts Council, the Director of Development and Community Engagement at Classical KUSC Public Radio and the Manager of Annual Giving at the LA Philharmonic and Hollywood Bowl.

Janet is the daughter of immigrants from Japan and identifies as a second-generation, mixed race/Japanese American, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. She currently resides in South Pasadena, CA.
